Ryan Inglis — guitarist, songwriter, teacher.
Ryan Inglis is an independent singer-songwriter and professional guitarist from England, based in Munich since 2016. He has worked as a full-time musician since 2006.
His style is inspired by Newton Faulkner, Radiohead, Ed Sheeran and John Mayer. He combines acoustic guitar with percussive elements and has a distinctive, country-like voice — known for his original songs and unique covers.
His songs tell stories about lessons he has learned in life, weaving intricate guitar playing together with thoughtful lyrics. Singles such as “Only Human”, “Blessed With Less” and “Munich” have been played on radio stations in Germany, Switzerland and Austria, and he has spent years travelling the world with his music and his guitar on his back.
As a teacher

Ryan plays live, works as a session guitarist and song arranger, and transcribes music by ear. That everyday experience shapes his lessons: real songs, real technique, and material written out for exactly where you are.
He teaches guitar and ukulele, one-to-one or in small groups of up to four, at Hohenzollernplatz, Munich.

Releases his first, self-funded album, “7 Blank Tiles”.

“The Time Is Now”, fan-funded and recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London, reaches #16 in the iTunes album charts.
2016
Moves to Munich and makes it his home.
2018
Plays “Blessed With Less” at Sofar Sounds Munich.
2021
Releases “Munich”, a song about why he loves the city.
